This is the situation:

The baby is crying.
The clothes are hanging outside and it has started to rain.
The water is running from the tap.
The doorbell is ringing.
The phone is ringing.

Put the list below in order, which would you do first?

Attend the baby.
Pick up the clothes.
Switch the tap off.
See who is at the door.
Answer the phone.

GO!

it seems wrong putting the baby second but its what i would probably do

while going to answer the door.. get that spare person
to help me quickly go pick up the clothes
and then switch the tap of

Open the door quickly so the person can attend the baby
then run and get the clothes
switch off tap, and hopefly by then whoever was at the door should
have picked up the phone (if they got 2 hands )

duno if thats right or wrong but thats how Id try work it out

Depends how fast its running.

Depends how long they been ringing for.

Noone ever knows why a baby is crying at first, could be a number of reasons!

Very badly

They just reached your house

Same as door bell.
