I remember this game, it was a classic shooter and one of the pioneers of the genre

i love this game,
when i was back home, always on it,
cant now at uni :(

when i was palying all the time, i was at a good level
playing on the UK server and everything ...
ah the days of summer holidays not doing anything :(

You should try the True Combat Elite mod for ET ;) Much better

ET was fun and all...but for me at least, it was just too hard to get actual kills. The only fun bits were like the rushes and such...I think there's one thats like "fuel depot" or something...the rush to build the bridge, or at the end if your axis...that was fun :D

Yeah I might give it a go again sometime soon...I remember before it was like with my integrated graphics, and a ball mouse so it wasn't the best...should be better insha'Allah with a proper graphics card and optical mouse right?

also, when u ply, dont use your speakers, try using headphones.

i found out, best place to download it is X-Fire (if you dont have it, get it. its good for gaming etc, and can keep in touch with gaming friends, see what servers they are on, and what games they are playing)

can download from there, and the 2.60b patch also.

was talking to TGT Beasty - the server we went on, and he said he could tell u have played these games before, and once you get to know the game more, you will be a good player (Y)

i like the game no doubt.. but there's too much dodging which puts me off.. how do you kill an enemy when you can't get your cursor on him at all!?

other games which i've seen.. you can get your crosshair on your enemy for a split second if not the whole time if he's a total noob.. i was hittin air in last nights gaming.. :i

yea its a fast paced game, as i said, lower your mouse sensitivty, as it will be extremly high now, and change ur cursor, to just a small red dot (its best), and with practice and time, you will get there. i was appaling wen i first started, and yes, im not a world beater now, but im better than before. lol

It's full of BOT Servers now though.

And you spend hours just downloading crappy mods, which they force on you.

yea alot of people went to quake or stopped played.
i used to be addicted to this game.
i played for the UK team and all sorts,
also on a paid to play basis.
