Prison Break actor Lane Garrison has been charged with manslaughter and drunken driving for a crash that killed a 17-year-old boy in his car.
The 26-year-old actor, who plays David 'Tweener' Apolskis, was behind the wheel of a Land Rover that jumped a kerb and struck a tree on December 2.
The crash killed Beverly Hills High School student Vahaghn Setian, 17, and injured two 15-year-old girls who also were in the car.
Garrison was charged with vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, driving under the influence causing injury to multiple victims, driving with a blood-alcohol level above the .08 % legal limit causing injury, and furnishing alcohol to a minor.
Police said Garrison was found to have a blood-alcohol level of .20% and cocaine in his system.
The charges only indicate that his blood-alcohol level was above .15%.
Garrison could face up to six years and eight months in prison if convicted.
The actor was expected to appear at Beverly Hills Superior Court on Thursday and prosecutors will recommend he be held on £200,000 bail, according to the district attorney's spokeswoman Jane Robison.
