Past few months, I have been looking at Islamic Art, Its so beautiful....Iv always been into art but some painting that i saw done by Amina Malik are awesome..

Here is some of her work....

Her ideas are great especially the colours and styles of writing that she has used....

caligraphy (sp?) iz SO HARD to do! i've tried many times but it jus ended up looking odd (well more like a demented alien of some sort

) ... the art iz indeed very beautiful..

Some of the math that goes into the symmetry for islamic art was several hundred years ahead of the west at that point.

Some of the western mathematicians actually advanced their understanding of symmetry through Islamic art many years ago.
