Ok, so i want to make a sig that's islamic orientated, i can't draw and i don't really have an amazing imagination but i want to make something as a sig, i want to keep the sig at a standard size of 550 px by 150 so keeping that size in mind i'd like to know what ideas you guys have. What text should be put in the sig i.e short islamic poems or quotes any names or 'AP', colour schemes and objects?

I'll give you a suggestion... Keep religious pictures out of your signatures....

I know you wanna know your spiritual side and your devotion to your religion, but it goes where you go, it goes in threads where you go... It ends up sidelined with your posts that sometimes can be in topics entitled "Wet Dreams" and "Would You Shag Her"....

Which is the equivalent of pissing on it... Coz you not respecting it no more... I seen some dudes in clubs with Allah medallions in fake diamonds and big as a cd.... Like a rap artist's medallion... I mean... Hold on you're in a club? LOL....

My dude said to me "a bad action with a good intention doesn't make the bad action ok".... That makes you think.... Well it would make most intelligent people think......

I suggest you keep all religious pictures out of here, and if you choose to do that... Well you better have a good excuse on Judgement Day......

I agree with EG on this one too. You should not have islamic related sig where its gna be posted in with inappropraite threads relatively, unless you are on a religious forum then that is fine no problem.

Also spirituality comes from within yourself not on the outside, there is no need to show spiritualty on the outside to be spiritual, unless you have the intention of giving dawah that way then you have to be really careful with your intention as that can turn into ria (showing off).

how is it not the same?
786 is meant to represent something in an islamic way. weather that is right or not i do not now, there is a discussion on it.

so they have that in their email, yet they are talking about bad things etc etc.

its the exact same concept as the signiture and what EG said.

i asy you should not have anything islam related on an email, or a msn name, or not many things really, because you will always stray from that.

I am afraid it doesn't. We are made to believe that the number 786 represents "bismillahir rahmaanir raheem" but it doesn't. It was invented by a group of mulsim theological adventurers who had nothing better to do and so decided to get down to reducing the Qur'an into numbers. Here have a read on this very informing link on this matter 786

if you read earlier, i was telling Sonz that it does not mean anything in islam, and it is a load of rubbish. however, people do still use 786, and the reason why, is that they still believe it has islamic meaning. the reason that they have it in their male or name for example, is to show a meaning to islam etc, or say 'yea i am a muslim here i am', but it doesn't represent islam in any way.

but it's the same with having it on your sig for example which i don't agree with. there is no difference with having it on your email or on a sig i don't think. you can sign up to a porn site on your email, or you can talk about porn on AP with islamic reference on your sig or in your name. they are both as bad as each other.
