I don't even understand Bengali, but I like some of the songs my Bengali friends listen to! I dunno what any of them are called obviously. But I like this one singer, Amar? I think. I also like that Bhromor koio gia song but I think it's a hindu story she's singing..

I don't really listen to very may Bangla songs, it's rare, but this would have to be a favourite:
Kobitayeh Jai Din There is the one song, I've been seeking for months and months, maybe over a year+ now, I have no idea what the name of the song is, the artists or anything of that sort, I somewhat can recall how it goes: "...aamaar...", I know that's very little help - sigh! Let's just say the "aamaar" is stretched out. (Total failure) All I know is, there is actually a hindi version of it and it starts Rakhi Gulzar in it (from an old movie), sucks as I don't know anything to do with either versions of them.
