As in other countries like Pakistan or India.. whats the situation with males and females in marriage? ..Do they get married too early.. forced marriages? Your choice? Arranged?

Forced marriages happen here too. They just take em back home and force them....forcing includes 'emotional blackmailing'...'pressure' and the gal/guy end up giving up and agreeing. Its sad.

my mum got married when she was 15. i dnt think they really think about questioning it or anything. its so common they jus go along with it.

Its not control...its a mental thing. People have a way of pressurising others and forcing them to do sumthing they may not want to do or are unsure about, mentaly or without them realisng it that its being done.

End of the day thats just humiliating making you do something you dont want to and you should do whatever it takes to get out of that, man people musn't think very much of you if theyr getting you into doing that.

I just think its totally unacceptable and no human being should put up with it, its just one of those things that pushes the boundaries and you should do anything in your power to get out of it.

Nah Im saying, considering the situation and the environment ur in (back home) ur actually helpless....u cant do anything or u cant do much anyways. Its like....they all gang up and try to 'make u see sense' and u dont realise that its actual emotional blackmail....ther comes a point wher u want it all to stop and u end up actually doing what 'they' want.

LOL I wasnt really going to get a gun man cos I know usually I wouldnt have the balls to shoot somebody but in that situation I would kill every single one of those pricks.

If you look at it from a principle perspective you see how utterly degrading it is, its much worse than a thousand deaths.

Somebody is making you do something that is not only something you dont want to do but something thats bad for you, if somebody killed you at least they go jail and your worries are over cos your dead.

But with this they dont get in trouble while you suffer your entire life.

I don't think there is anything worse in life death doesn't come close.

i dont agree wid force marriages is wrong end of...

wen it comes to arranged marriages, wen the gla and guy (yes it happens to guys as well...lol) if they are spoken to and they are happy to have an arranged marriage den dats fine... but i'd prefer to have a love marriage...

marriages in bangladesh are wrong in some cases, coz da gals are like 15 wen they get married which is wrong...

the system is fixing up but in sum situations people just are too rushed wen it comes to marriage
