Fireworks

You hate me and I hate you
And we are so polite, we two!

But whenever I see you, I burst apart
And scatter the sky with my blazing heart.
It spits and sparkles in the stars and balls,
Buds into roses - and flares, and falls.

Scarlet buttons, and pale green disks.
Silver spirals and asterisks,
Shoot and tremble in a mist
Peppered with mauve and amethyst.

I shine in the windows and light up

Friday 12 December....The exact date.
I did this last year and I feel that writing about you, thinking about you makes me feel that bit closer to you.

11 years ago...and the day is as vivid as it was only yesterday. Last Eid, your Dad and brother came to visit your grave...they brought Umi with them. Your Dad was explaining..'Umi, we're going to pray for Ray's big brother...come on'...

Umi...he's a giddy one-so excited bless him...when they all came back Umi was...

..The Beginning..

I've made alot of ranting blogs..this entry however, is hopefully going to be brighter!

For a long time I felt empty and bitter regarding certain things in the past i felt unable to let go off.

Today i know my issues weren't solely due to the past or what others had done...my feelings about myself were a big part of it. In discovering this i know that in order to evolve as a person i have to accept who i am....and like who i am!
