Imran Khan’s LUCK Runs Out

Imran Khan, the dashing, suave and sexy youngman who had made his super successful bollywood debut with Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, seems to have run out of luck with Bollywood biggies as his latest film fetched Rs 13 crore less than his earlier film.

Imran Khan’s upcoming film ‘Luck’, wherein he plays the main lead with Sanjay Dutt, has been bought by a corporation only for Rs 27 crore. Earlier, the same corporation had doled out Rs 40 crore for Imran Khan-Sanjay Dutt starrer ‘Kidnap’, which was directed by Sanjay Gadhvi.
The buzz doing the rounds in the industry is that Imran Khan has lost his hot status after his last film ‘Kidnap’ bombed at the box office. The film was a disaster and the distributors could not recover even their cost from the box office, let alone the question of making any profit. And so this time they were not prepared to go for more than Rs 27 crore, despite of the film being directed by Soham Shah, who was earlier associated with Karan Johar.

However, this has not prevented the same corporation to sign Imran Khan for a new film opposite sizzling hot Katrina Kaif. Perhaps, these people have more faith in Katrina Kaif, who has been a lucky mascot for many of Akshay Kumar and other’s super hit flicks.
