Leaving College

Oh k well iv decided 2 withdraw ma uni aps and leave college all togetha..

Im 19 and wasted 2 years a college doin shitty a-levels..

1st year i did an NVQ course cz a kinda dint get the grades i needed ta do a level's.. plus had ta re-sit ma Maths GCSE.. cause a gt a D.. So thought if im re-sittin ma maths ta get a C.. Y nt re-sit ma English and get an B from a C..

So yeh 1st year went smooth.. Did NVQ level 2 business admin.. *nt a baad course*.. So i passed and also achieved ma target in ma maths and English.. Gt a C 4 maths and B for English..

I thought of taking up a job and sticking to that buh i went to ma college in sept *2006* and the teacha kinda like brain washed me n said if ya do a-levels then it would b much easia for ya to get ani job.. so i thought abwt it and ended up doin the a-levels.. took on psychology.. sociology.. health and social care *btec*.. coming ta decemba time a dropped outa health and social care as it was too complicated!! everyfin i took on clashed 1 way or anotha!!.. Ok it seemed easy in 1st year 4 ma a-level buh thats cause there was no worries abwt c/w n stuff.. onli essays wich could be done 4 wenevaa.. n xams just revise and c wa apans..

Gt past ma xams.. results came nt a baad endin gt a C 4 sociology and D for psychology.. At that moment of time i wasnt in da mood to carry on buh cause a had no otha option i stook to it.. dropped out on Psychology and picked up I.C.T.. N den teacha forced me in2 picking up health and social care sub wich is da most boring sub evaa!!..

ive realised its tooo late ta drop outa college buh im nt stiking on suma a cnt do!! no ways aint guna wrk like that 4 me.. so yeh iv been gettin good job offers due to the course a did in 1st year of college.. personal assistant.. medical receptionist and so on.. so i was finkin y nt just accept one of the offers and work ma way up from there..

No1 guna look at th degree u gt they just want the experience.. i thought hard and afta finkin soo much iv come to the conclusion im droppin outa education n takin fings on the hard way.. Uni is just there 4 da degree cz ppl kw wen they come outa uni thye'll get a job just like that buh the fing is wer do u get the experience from wen ya at uni?? u just get the knowledge..

So yeh no more education 4 me.. i'v planned 2 settle dwn in many ways..
And the best fing of all is that every1's happy with my decision n alot of ppl are with me on it..

Look 4 a job.. work.. live ma dreams and then fink abwt settling dwn * a mean marriage..etc*

you may aswell stick it through, you started in 2006,it only takes a little bit of time and effort.

you won't find a good enough job if they know you are a drop out. put it that way.

finish your a-levels at least

thats why when future job prospects see that you been committed towards your education so hence you will be committed towards there work

Yea do your a levels... cos im sure an employer wants some qualifications no matter how much experience you got.

Just think it throught carefully.. Atleast do your A level's.. Then maybe later on if you wana go uni you will be able too..

i agree with the others, atleast finish ur a levels.....u've only got couple months left of them anyway! atleast u'll have the certificate for those to show u passed!

i messed up in college and that!

im 21 i should be graduating this year, and im only in my first yr of uni! lol. but im not going to uni cos ppl are making me, its my choice to go to uni, cos i want to get a degree in the area i enjoy! and im gettin xperience at the same time, cos i work in the same field i study!

so its not all that bad! but it is tru...without experience its sometimes difficult to find a job after u graduate!

Well i cnt really stik ta it its too late.. iv messed ma year up cause me bein ill and that.. starting in sept.. went college 4 a week and then messed up missed 2 weeks of college in october cz a was ill.. and then wen a was up 4 it all again.. afta a week o so it just went dwn da drain again n me bein ill and its still on going!!

Fell baad behind on ma cw.. all ma cw are onli eitha 50%.. 65%.. and 70% done..
and iv gt one wich i avent evan started cz a aint been in once 4 da sub since sept!!

So yeh iv stopped and guna take up a job and stik to that.. and hopingli fings will wrk out 4 me.. im nt guna botha with education for the nxt 18 months..

cos regardless of u being ill and missing a few weeks of college u can still complete the cw and that and hand it in, even if u get low % atleast its better than a big fat FAIL!

Nt reallly.. its nt just a few days.. itss been every friggin day.. in a week i'd onli go college like 4 1 n half day.. sometimes nevaaa!! since decemba ma conditions ave worsened..

Plus a gt wa i wanted.. iv gt a full NVQ Cert in ma Business.. From there i am getting decent job offers and thought if i cnt stik ta college n the subs im doin then just do it the other way..

Make the most of it nw.. cz if a go uni den 4 years will fly.. and den ma parents and ma in laws to be expect me to be ready 4 marriage!! n ma fiance told me str8 dnt want me wrk afta marriage.. he wants ta open his own thing bak home.. so wen am i eva guna wrk?? so y nt just start from ere n wrk ma way up..

I didnt go uni coz I knew it wasnt for me.. I've done my Alevels though so if ever I think yeh I wana go back to studying which I highly doubt ill have my A levels to help me get in..
