ok i gotta answer this question for sociology its well confusing i dont even understand what it means, i asked my dad and he start going on about the beauty of sociology which confuse dme even more!

can someone please explain what the following questiuon means:

Using material from item B and elsewhere,assess the usefullness of functionalism for an understanding of the family. (20 marks)

what is item B??
it means y is it usefull for a family to function properly so u can understand the family...i think..hard question...lolz

i wnet to my dad and he finally stopped chatitng about the beauty of sociology

and explaine dit to me! i understood it at the time but now im confused again so im

not going to do it!

i did sociology,

usefullness of functionalism for an understanding of the family.

concerntrate on that ^^ and always use the examples from the extract, how usefull is to function and understanding of the family, look up what functionalism is, basically it literally means things to do with functions and how things are and work, like we live our lives today. Use the extract first then use other things from your memory, always give examples! from other groups etc etc!
