Learn programmin by books or by teaching? - The Asian Place - Desi Forum

To be honest.. trying to learn programming within a year and movin on to somethin new every week is hectic.. i would prefer to take the time out and learn it.. what you guys think? ..Did you learn from books? Or by teaching?

im learning programming myself... i can do some stuff.. and im also learning bits and bobs from uni... but i think ive self taught almost everything myself! Not a single webdesign/programming book on my shelf!

see i knew it can be some use by yourself.. my brother knows shit loads about coding all by himself and im like.. when did you know all this?!

yea man trial and error... its not like you can learn it straight away... needs time, if you got time to kill then sit down and learn it.. I use to spend days sometimes weeks working on one very small peice of coding until i understand it and until i see how it all works.. i just play with it... you will then see its easier to learn as you go along!
