Do you find it hard letting go of your old clothes, when a time comes of you throwing them away and replace it with new ones?

Do you throw em away or give it to charity that includes your little brother or sister..lol ?

most of my ones are very brand new,and have gave them to other frends,one of tee's from all saints was sooo hard to let go of. But wudnt go across my boobs so gave to my frend.

Gave away some to charity shops too

I tend to have a good clear out after awhile, and most things will go quite easily, jus shove them in some bags for charity There's always a coupla things that I'll throw to the back of me wardrobe jus because I don't wanna let go.. Knowing they probly won't get worn again..

I NEVER! chuck away anything of mine because i know one day ill wear it again and it will come back into fashion i love finding real old stuff and wacking it on! i have like no space for anything though!

i'm a hoarder :[ i try SO hard to clear stuff out, then end up having a huge pile of stuff to keep, and like one top to get rid of. and it ends up going to my sister lol!
clothes are like, i dunno. i'm emotionally attached to it all! and i KNOW it'll come back into fashion. unfortunately, my shopping habit hasn't slowed down any...the sales this xmas!! omg, caaaant wait!

It depends.

If its something some ones given me. For some reason I dont like to admit its time for it to "move on" ....lol but yeah do end up giving it away after.

But if its something Iv brought myself then I dont mind giving it away once Im done with or If I cant manage to shut my cupboards. English/Western type of clothes to charitys here. and Asian type of clothes (like embroided dresses) send back home.

Before I give stuff away to charities/backhome, I ask sis or anyone else close (if the item of clothing is fairly new) if they want it. then If not. Ima give away.

There are actually a few of my clothes. wierdly. I dont think I could ever give away....even if they went out of fashion (although I make my own fashion)

Out of all my clothes though. The ones Id never ever give away are my "Sari's"
Most of them cost like over £100 each piece. and Iv only worn them on special occasions. Quite funny though. could probally open a small Sari shop with the amount I have loll.

I hate parting with old clothes... once in a while I have to have a little clear out as I run out of space in my wardrobe... I usually bag up some of it and then my cousins/mates have a root around when they've over and take what they like. Rest of it gets given to charity.

I keep most of my old clothes, but i can't trust my younger cousins. Whenever they're around mine, I gurantee some of clothes go missing!
Like people have mentioned, most of it will come back into fashion again. Plus i love digging out vintage stuff and mixing it with new items!

I give most of my old clothes to charity. Unless one of my friends has her eye on something... I had a little bit of a clear out recently. I found it so hard to part with a few things that I hardly ever wear though... It was so weird because as I was trawling through my wardrobe I was like, "that can go, that can go, oh that definately has to go"...lol. But then, all of sudden, I started having second thoughts and ended up putting some things back into my wardrobe thinking, "but what if I wear it sometime soon". Then I snapped out of it and told myself to get real so pulled it off the hanger and placed it back into the bag I had on the floor...lol.

we sometimes buy stuff just to donate..don't know if anyone else does that, i donate my old things too if i know i'm never going to wear them again (since i generally replace my clothes when i can't fit into them/they are worn out) i keept things with some significance attached to them like my game jerseys, a sweatshirt i really like and still wear (the cuffs are worn and come open no matter how many times i make my mom stitch them again but other than that you can not tell that it is old)

I don't throw off my old clothes my mum puts it in a garage sale so that we can earn something from those clothes but it really hurts me to let go of my old clothes especially if there's a special memory embedded it...
