My comfort eating pattern isn't predictable.
...so no can tell, not even myself. But, when I find myself crying because there's nothing meaty at home, I know there's something wrong. 'Cause I don't usually like meat. ...well, want meat. Gravy's another thing. We can tell when there's tension at home because gravy's being made all the time. We love our butter and gravy.

not really. more like opposite when Im stressed
 I like beetroot tho. sometimes get cravings for it...

I don't comfort eat... food generally makes me happy.. if I'm slightly cranky and I havent eaten... I can eat a meal n I'll find myself giddy

I sit at a desk most of my waking hours (I said Waking), I often find myself looking for that sugar hit, and I have a whole draw full of unhealthy pickings.... When I trim my beard, I always get chocolate cravings too. LOL... Things I'm addicted to I don't do in moderation.. So whatever it is; I eat til' I'm full.. I eat cookies, cakes, crisps and pastries too.. I comfort eat.. But I don't eat coz of stress or pressure, if anything I eat less... Rather I eat coz I'm idle and habitual..

i was a regular child who wouldn eat when i got angry or upset and stuff, and it wasnt long before the parents figured this out. when i broke up with my of the time boyfriend i didnt want any pity and especially didnt want anyone to figure it out, so i started to eat... alot... people knew i would stop eating, so by over eating they never noticed...
ive been a comfort eater ever since. its bad. i hate it.
