i hear and read its harmful and poisonous, but is it still harmful when you've microwaved the potatoes? coz after microwaving them the skin goes soft and when you feel away the skin there's some greenish color left.

anyone shed some light?

my mom bangs on about that all the time...
maybe the harmful bits were like, zapped by the microwave.

surely you may as well just cut the green bit off.
green potatoes don't really look very appetising tbh

Put them in the oven and your baked potatoes will no longer look green!

By the way, you get green chips now and then from your chippy. If green potatoes were harmful then think of the compensation you could be awarded from your chippy! I don't think rhey'd risk it.

I wouldnt eat it to be on the safe side....

Oven baked potato is way better then microwave....tastes wierd in mic....

Erm... If you're getting green chips, you should ask for a whole new batch to be made.
If they refuse, you should contact your local environmental officer (I think)... or the City Council.

The green part on potatoes are toxic.
Cooked or not.
A lot of people still eat the green bits, and a lot of the time nothing happens.
But, imagine if ate a part that was loaded with toxins...?
