Tea Or Chai? - The Asian Place - Desi Forum

Ive had a quick look & not found a thread made before... which is shocking!

Anyhow; Which do you prefer.. Tea made in t'kettle or do you whip out the good ol' saucepan? I lurrvveee desi tea.. Probably one of the most blood asian thing within me.. I'd rather settle without tea than settle for the kettle stuff.. True.Story.

I've always just had tea without sugar..but there at times when a nice cup of punjabi tea is just what I need..

My Mum puts garlic which is orgasmic at times. And when I go India love the Masala tea you get from some places. Kettle tea just seems like a cheap imitation.

Desi tea with ginger... That is sooo yummy!
Daddy Dearest makes the best Masala Tea... Gosh, it's partly his fault why I can't settle for the kettle stuff...

I do enjoy masala tea... with some nice jeera biscuits... dunno if that's just a guji thing though.

i cannot drink or stand the smell of desi/masala tea.

has to be seperate,kettle vaali chai.which i have 2-3 times a day!

nothing like a good old cuppa after a long day
