beef or bacon flavourd crisp??

well as my lil brav is on half term i thot i jack his crisps dat he takes 2 skool lol

i didnt realise until i got 2 work n was bwt 2 eat it n it was bacon flavour n i was finking wtf my brav been buying wivout reading but i read it n it said suitable 4 vegiterians n i also read da ingrediants so i thot okay it may b ok but i had 1 n did not lyk it at all da taste n smell put me off n i gave it 2 my mate

so i was wondering even tho as a muslim or veggies we can eat it but do u? cuz i jus cnt its jus horible n puts me off

Yea it's just flavouring, it's not actually bacon. It's like that Squirrel flavour one, they don't actually get it from a Squirrel lol

TBH even though I like bacon, I don't like bacon flavoured crisps apart from Wheat Crunchies. I don't like any other bacon flavoured crisps because they taste rank!

Regardless of whether or not it is flavouring, you shouldn't eat it. Because what if you ate it and you liked it? That may lead you to the 'wrong' path or lead you to sin.

It's like those stupid companies that make Halal Sausages and Halal alcohol with 0% alcohol. In the case of the latter, alcohol-less alcohol is NOT alcohol, it's called a drink. But the point is why do you want to drink Halal alcohol? Is it because you want to drink real alcohol? There must be something that you feel you are lacking for you to specifically go and get that....

Anyway the point I'm making is that if you eat Bacon crisps even though it's just flavouring, the fact that you're eating it means that YOU want to taste it. You want to enjoy it and you wish you could eat proper bacon. LOL. Pork is haraam.

The only case where Pork becomes permissable is when it's a life or death situation, i.e. starvation or torture for example if you were a prisoner of war. Or you have eaten it in error or before you have come into knowledge.... In those circumstances your Lord will forgive you...

But whatever, I'm no saint I am saying this so I can remind myself and to share the knowledge... I am not the one who guides that is for Allah.

the smell makes me puke so even though its just bacon flavour i cant buy or make myself eat it even though its Ok i still feel bad eating it so i'd rather not...

I agree with EG actually, if you don't know what it is or what's inside it, you can't really be blamed for it. It's just like nobody knew bread had pork gelatine in until now and everyone who likes bread who isn't celiac have been eating it for years on end!
