Moving out.
At which age is it too old to still be living at home with your parents??
My sister really wound me up this eve. She asked me when i was moving out , i said to her im not too bothered at the moment im quite happy with living at home.. then she said ' Your 21 and still living at home, thats embarrassing' I dont get it, how is it?? 21 is pretty young. 25 and living at home is pretty crappy but 21?! She said i work full time and earn enough so why dont i? I just answered ' why should i?' My parents have asked me its about time i thought about leaving but never really took it to seriously , is it really a big deal?? I thought about it and realised moist of my friends have moved out .. What age should u move out?

if my folks say tht 2 me, i'l ask them the same thing - they can move2 old ppls house
lol am jokin..... but (mayb am livin up2 my name here) i dnt see it as a bad thing livin with ur folks..... if anythin, its gud - keeps fam 2gthr rather than a bit of distance which causes ppl 2 change, whehtr its much or not can vary

nahh i knw plenty of ppl who are still 25 and not moved out yet...i dont think she should get 2 u. only reason for them is that first..they would need to buy a flat which takes time to look(location, expenses, convenient or not) and the fact if your ready 2 move out.
also can u even afford 2 move out on your own? unless u move out and ur mum is gonna pay for ur rent and everything lol which i wouldnt want my mum 2 do. i would rather pay everything my self once i earn enough. |

In one aspect it's good to move out. Bring the man out of you quickly, become more independant and learn life.
But i's no reason to avoid your own folks.

living with your parents is not a bad thing at all, its keeps family closer as stated already... also moving out isnt great either...
Your NOT a man if you dont move out and i dont see how it could stop from learning about life just because you've moved out... Im living with my mum all my life...once anyone is capable of doing so, they should be looking after their parents not their parents looking after them. why wouldnt anyone want to do that? As marni already said you dont have to move out.. its societies way of putting all sorts in your head...

I do think that people should atleast experience living out.
I know a lot of 25-28 year olds who still depend on their parents to pay mortgage etc.. I still depend on my parents for food... I just don't have time or money to get food for the family. If I moved out, I could've learnt how to manage it all... Right now, I'm just covering utilities, and I'm finding it hard, but that's because I like to leave enough spending money for luxuries. Diva, move out when you feel ready. Age means shit all. You said you're working, but are you earning enough to be able to support yourself?
