U get the drift, pick up the newspaper and u got a different problem everyday....

So whats the problem? How has Britain got itself into this shithole? The same country that Epitomises everything about democracy, the same democracy they want to show the Iraqis and the Pakis and every other poor sod across the world, the ones they are ready to invade and kill innocent lives and create bogus wars about, for the sake of? YET look at us... Broken famillies, Murders, Corruption, Crime in our own country....

Are we a broken Britain?
Whats the cause of it?
Is it going to get worse?

Yes not suprised it's a secular country.It will get worse and it's mstly because people have no self respect and morals

I can only say that things will only keep getting worse...

The economy will take a while to get used to but i think as we dont have a choice about jobs and recession and so forth... People will find it the norm sooner or later and get over it... Just a matter of time...

U have a country here, which makes out, it is the Crisp de la creme, the role model, to all other nations. Im sure lots of us here, have been back home and the relatives back there are sayin 'we hear england is this good and u can do this nd that' They have this image of Britain being a wonderful country. Maybe a reason why freshys aspire to have the red passport one day.

How can a country which promotes secularism/democracy (which has failed miserably), go across the world to promote (by killing, invading, deceiving) the same values which have failed here?

The problems in society nd world are due secularism, leaving man to decide what is right and wrong.

On the note of the thread; yeah Britain is a failing country now. As soon as I graduate, I'd want to head out of here as soon as possible. Maybe my generation didn't suffer much but the next generation will. Especially for the minorities.

Not only are we living in an economic depression but on top of that people are feeling intimidated and frightened from anti-social behaviour. Children are carrying guns and knifes to protect themselves whilst the police are tied up with targets to even focus on preventing crime!

This country is a mess. I seriously worry about bringing a child into this world let alone this country!

Anyway, I am of the view that human management theories of government are at play(used to gain more power/control over people). When they decided that separating diversities/communities was not working fast enough, they instead turned their efforts to breaking down the core... which is the family unit.

By not managing the 'whole' as a profit producing entity, which is what their job should be, they went in a different direction... manage the people and keep the profits within the few. Tools toward this endeavour include media propaganda, bandwagons, economic upsets, taxes beyond means, credit frauds, toxifying necessities of life, and limiting educational options, as well as others.

Once these were placed in motion, people in general could be swayed and manipulated at whim. The day it became necessary for both parental figures to work, or a single one needing two or more jobs to support their needs to care for family situations, it started the true break down of society enmasse. Communities rely on participation of their residents, who no longer are provided the time or energy for such, their children do not get the opportunity to learn as being part of a community, let alone part of a country. They get left alone alot to fend for themselves, they do not see the 'sense' of it all because there is none, and are pushed away from opportunities rather than nurtured toward them.

At the end of the day this creates a snowball effect... break the core, break the whole...and it's worked! Add in a little bit of power and a milaise starts to settle in the mind-sets of the masses that, "this is life, let's just do the best we can for ourselves, sod everyone else."
