Receptionist Clothes.

I'm being given money to spend on a few new outfits for work.
JobCentre are amazing.

...I've been told I can only go New Look or Dorothy Perkins.
I hardly ever shop there.

I need help.

What do you think would look hot (and still look sensible to be receptionist outfits) from these two places?

The allowance includes shoes, coats/jackets, bags.
But not accessories, underwear, or anything that would come up as party dresses/tops.

New Look online? could save you some time if you check there first. I'm not too keen on thier formal clothes but you could find something.

Dorothy Perkins, don't shop there so can't help with that one.

I'm not working *at* the Job Centre.
But they're giving me money for new clothes.

I only buy shoes from New Look, and I hardly ever buy Dorothy Perkin stuff.
I don't like any of their stuff, but £150 to blow is something I can't miss out on.
Thought people on here might be able to make some things look appealing.

I always wear cute dresses and cardigans whenever I work, but then again, I don't usually work in offices.
All my "formal" clothes aren't suitable for work.

High waisted skirts, skinny fit trousers or black skinny jeans if u can get away with it..
they usually expect you to wear black , white and grey right?
id wear a black high waisted skirt , white or grey t-shirt , tights and winkle pickers throw in a scarf too.. no matter where i work i always make my uniform my own..

My friends mum works for the job centre they do this when youve been unemployed for over 6months right?

God, I sound like a sad case.

No one wants me, apart from nurseries that underpay me and make me do stuff I'm not legally allowed to do.
