I just wanted to make a topic with the word Oral in it, to receive 60,000 views.

Anyway. Taking care of your mouth. Teeth, Gums, Tongue. It's not hard?

It's so hard maintaining conversation with someone that has bad teeth/bad breath, it's like.. shit, don't stare, don't stare - It's almost hypnotic, you no longer focus on the words, or their face, but their teeth!! I was talking to someone earlier and I just couldn't focus on anything else

Just made me think, how can people allow their teeth to get so bad? It's not like we don't have dental care made available to us. Also, why not brush your teeth before you leave the house. Perhaps Its a little obsessive compulsive, but I must.. else I get paranoid and generally dislike not doing so

Final thought -

Pete Doherty's teeth. Surely toothbrushes are cheaper than crack?

i knew a dude in 6th form, worst breath in the world...even with a distance of 10 feet+ you could notice it

I don't really have perfectly formed teeth so I try to make sure they're in the best possible condition. I think, in terms of men's toiletries, I spend the most on oral stuff. Mouthwash, Floss, Toothbrushes etc.

Anyone else here have sensitive teeth? It really sux.

Ice Cream is the WORST. Everyones eating their viennetta happily where I have to eat it with skill to save me from going "mmmph" in front of everybody.

And thats minus the brain freeze!

Thankfully my teeth are all ok. Yeah I smoke, and it does stain the teeth a little bit, but you really can't tell with mine as I go to the dentist every 2-3 months for a "service".

He just acidifies them and they come out shining white

Then again saying all that I did have some problems when I was younger. Because of those problems, I now have 2 cm of my gums replaced with a steel bar, 2 gold teeth and 4 silver.

Ritz, yeah. I smoke too. But brush my teeth straight after (if I can) obviously If im out, I can't Lol. But frequent visits do the dentist sort us a purrrfect clean, no problem!

I need to quit, I disgust me.

Yeah the dentist does wonders with a metal scrub and acid lol.

Me needs to quit to bloody been smoking since i been 12 or 13!

its not hard at all.brush twice a day, mouthwash,floss...really doesnt take too much time.
its like cleaning your ass everytime you go the loo.you dont exactly leave it out do you? (unless some do..but thats another topic altogether..ew!)
but yeh,bad breath i cant stand.

plus i got a supersharp nose on me.smell funny things a mile off,and steer clear.also makes me para about personal hygiene,but thankfully its a good thing not bad.

brush up,mouthwash and floss those of you that dont!twice a day!!

Yeah its probably because they have the perception that because they smoke, they need to keep their teeth looking better abnd shinier than the non-smoker. Plus these smokers toothpastes ain't that bad you know. They do actually work. You start to see the results after a week or so.

non smoking day march 11th..saw it in the doctors surgery today.

and if you go boots on wed/sat between 12-6 they offer you free patches,until you quit! get there asap.

Yeah I smoke, and it does stain the teeth a little bit, but you really can't tell with mine as I go to the dentist every 2-3 months for a "service".
