Hmmm I dunno about a desi cure but you can try those tablets, I've forgotten what they're called now, I don't really like taking tablets but if I'm working or going to work, I just have paracetemol, I don't want to be taking time off every month!

I used to be a nut and endure the pain..then I realised Ranj you can take drugs!
![]() My first day tends to be quite bad..and I usually just need to take some pain relief, lie down and sleep it off. After that I'm usually alright. All I can suggest is take pain relief, take a hot shower or bath, kind of numbs the pain a bit (well for me anyway) and if it really gets quite bad, go see your doctor and seek advice.

Usual advice: Eat well, Stay Active.
It works. I have PCOS. From the age of 10 to 18, my periods would last 16 days, I used to suffer from the worst cramps, nausea and migraines, I'd have to change my knickers/clothes every two hours, I'd get so weak that I could only crawl if I needed to go to the toilet... Doctors gave me so much bullshit. I had to take Metformin... some other acid tablet... They put me on norethisterone... then the pill... then they took me off the pill... All of that stuff made things worse. Then I made the decision to sort out my diet and lifestyle. I now only bleed for six days, I only exactly when I'm due, I have only one day of heavy bleeding - and it's nothing that a purple mini tampon can't sort out, the nausea's gone, as well as the headaches... Yes, I do still get cramps, but I just make sure that I'm more active during my periods... Yoga/Pilates or even light stretching really does help.

I thought a change of diet would work for me, I started eating more fruit but that doesn't really help, unless it's raspberries. I find that citrus drinks help me too like fresh lemon juice or orange juice or any lemony drinks really like Lucozade or 7UP or Sprite, aslong as it's very cold!

Mine usually last for 5 days but I never get them on time and I get really heavy bleeding for the first, second and sometimes third days not to mention the cramps and vomiting I get on those days. I usually get migraines a few days or the day before I start so atleast I know it's coming soon lol

I'm heavy & irregular.. First day I struggle to get out of bed.. Backache, headaches & feeling majorly drained..
I don't like tablets so try to avoid them.. My hot water bottle is my best friend during that time, warm bath helps me.. or I just try sleep it off.

I get that, a pint of cranberry juice does the trick for me.
Attack me cause I say shit. That's that way of curving that they had me as a favourite. |

Bleh I was like that... I feeeeel your pain
Some days you just can't stand up for the pain. I exercise when I'm on, it really helps even though you just don't feel like heading out to the gym.But for the past year I switched to taking the Pill and its all so much better! :] It's a bitch remembering to take it, but now periods are much shorter and pretty light. Down side is I get majorly ratty and bitchy! Still, I don't think I'd stop taking it.
