Split Ender

This is for the girliess..

Any of you guys got a split ender? or know someone who has. Im really tempted to get one. Just watched a youtube tutorial on it, and it actually does look like it works.

For anyone who doesn't know what it is, its like a battery device, that you kind of comb through your hair, and it cuts off all your split/dead ends.

The reviews don't seem too bad, and its only 20 quid. Which I spend in one visit to the hairdressers anyway.

As im trying to grow my hair out, it gets annoying going to the hairdresser and them cutting off loads when you really just want your split ends sorted.

to get rid of split ends you gotsa cut the hurr off...thats the only way.let your hair start again..Allow a MACHANE..go to the barbers..nahimean..get yourself one of them cute lil fringe..and give the heating irons a miss for a bit..

Thats the thing though, this thing does cut them off. You set it to a 1/8 or 1/4 of an inch setting and it'll basically trim your hair. Whereas if you go the hairdressers they'll cut min 3/4 of an inch off.

I don't straighten my hair or use a hairdryer. Just how it is really.

So it's like basically cutting your hair yourself?? My hair is kinda long, was really long before and I just don't trust hairdressers either!

If you tell your hairdressers that you want to keep the length, they'll only cut off what needs to be cut off.

...and if you're not getting a wash, blow dry or anything else done, you can come away with either a free trim (if you get on with your hairdresser) or one that costs about £4-£8.

I don't trust these new inventions.

If your specific with your hairdresser, they won't cut off what you don't want them to. Most of us trust them too much and just go with the flow, don't go with the flow, be sure with what you want them to do and what you do not want them to do!

man i grew my hair was so happy cuz it was long n by trying 2 get rid of da split ends its not long any mor i want it 2 go long but not hav split ends

Right, I tried it out on bits of my hair.. and it does work. But it doesn't get rid of all your split ends. But it does get rid of alot. For those worried about how much hair it'll cut off. Its not much at all.. its a tincy bit.

I think the best way to go about it is to get all your split ends chopped off by the hair dressers, and then use it from then on, as the split ends come.

When I do my whole head, (which is pretty time consuming!) I'll post pics. Don't know if you'll be able to tell much in a photo.

One thing I will say, man it makes your hair feel soft! O and its green Which is always a plus!
