I'd like to know how yous treat your fannys when the painters come in.. For obvious reasons, of course.

Which do you use/prefer? Tampons or pads?

No, only because I whipped out a tampon in front of a fellow Pakistani student today, (in the loo's, obv) and I don't know.. just the look on her face? For some bizzare reason was a disgusted, 'You use tampons?'... Um...

why, what happened? 'Eew, how can you?' ..Um.. how can I what? 'Omg, but why can't you just wear pads? Like, why do you have to shove something up there'..... HONESTLY, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. IT'S HARDLY A CUCUMBER?!

I am not understandings, yaar.

Anywho, more to the point.. what do you use? Im so so interested.

Im a pads kinda girls.

You'll be suprised how many paki auntie ji's grill me on this. Warning me against using tampons blah blah. There all like after your married, not yet though.

Tbh, tampons don't sound too appealing to me anyway. Keep it simple, rock it old school. Always pads!

Well, I alternate. I use both. Pads usually, but sometimes its uncomf.. also depending on clothing/where I am etc.

See I don't understand that though, because never ever have I ever heard of a Tampon breaking the hymen. So why is it such an 'Hai hai, astaghfaar' thing.
Lol, the mere thought of inserting something in to the vagina? Hardly losing your virginity to a piece of plastic/cardboard/cloth, whatever.

Oh and btw, BuzzB thats not @ you.. my love! I'm generally speaking.
Because some of my auntys are like that too....!

just to chime in here. The Hymen could tear/break with a tampon depending on the shape of your hymen if that is a concern of yours (if you're vigin that is

). n Yes hymen do come in different shapes n sizes lol. You would be quite unlucky if that is the case.

I use both. I don't see an issue with it,however, Mum was a little disturbed intially due to tales she'd been told by others. Poor love.

Though i found some in my bathroom so i don't think its a big no no in my house...

I think it all comes down to all the hymen bullshit at the end of the day though were all pretty educated people ( well i hope) and should know that even if the hymen was to break it don't mean your not a virgin any more..
Some people are not even born with one...

But if you're going to remain a virgin, you may aswel take the necessary precautions to not break the hymen ( the vast majority will have it). So you can impress your husband to be

The hymen can also break due to excercising! Anyways to answer your question, I use pads, never tried a tampon but I reckon it would be quite uncomfortable!

If I wear pads, I know I'm going to get thrush.
It irritates me too much.

Tampons are lovely.
No leaks, no smell, no waddling around like a penguin.

God knows how I went so many years wearing them!

My mum once found a few in my room when I was 16, and chucked them away in front of me.
They were from those "Puberty Kits" you get at school, with condoms, towels, tampons and a health leaflet.
She looked at me with disgust, and walked out.

Now, she tells me to encourage my little sister (of 13) to use tampons.

It just works out better if you have issues.

Admittedly, it took me a whole box of super mini ones to work out how to get the stupid things up.
But, now that I know how, I love it.
