what zoned said is bang on. ppl harped about man u goin down after van nist, beckham, stam etc left. utd is one club where no player is bigger than it. if anything its the manager who's become bigger than the club thats the void they're really going to struggle to fill up.

with 80m i think ribery+ 2 more international class midfielders will come.

A great player may have left United, But a great manager is still at Old Trafford. Great players have come and gone from United over the years (Fergie era) and United have always carried on nd continued with there success. Glad to see PROPER football fans acknowledge that.

Plus the team was based around Ronaldo, players like Rooney, Park, Tevez etc did the grafting/donkey work nd played out of position to accomodate Ronaldo's play. Hopefully now we can see Rooney step up nd play in a role which he is more suited to nd maybe see Fergie resort back to 4-4-2 with 2 proper wingers, (valencia already a target). 80 mill and the Glazer fam have said Fergie can use majority of that in the transfer market. Lets see what Fergie got planned this summer.
