Glad to see Abdul Razzaq back in the Pak squad, now they could do with Imran Nazir back as a opener. As much as Afridis batting has been shit of recent times, his bowling has been top draw, the quicker ball he uses is sikk.

Umar Gul is a class act, yesterdays performance typifies a bowler who comes on to destroy the middle and lower order batting line up. Bouncers, Yorkers, slower balls, Off cutters, all used to maximum effect, no wonder hes the leading T20 Wicket taker, (last tournamnet and this). Pak just gotta keep playing a consistent game, cant keep playing good one match nd shit another, but guess thats Pakistan cricket for u, dont know what to expect next.

india england n sri lanka all wearing blue - so its bound 2 b blue...... only othr colours u will see r green (4ireland) or white (the empty seats) lol...... 2nite prob be a full house, but an india-pak match wud have the whole place buzzin - inside the stadium as well as outside...... lets hope the fixture is possible

umar gul was top class yesterday...the way he releases the ball is how i release it lol but he got it to swing and damn it was good...paks have a gold mine in terms of seamers

freshy any chance u can work out the chances of an india vs pak semi final? at this rate I think it's gonna be a south africa vs. pak on thursday? And then Sri Lanka v India on friday but I'm not sure :S

Im pretty sure if the games were held at Headingly, Old Trafford or Edgbaston, there would be a whole load more Pakistani fans then Indian, reason being, there is loads more Pakis up north then there is down south.... I remember goin back in 2000, When Pak toured England, Headingly was all green, couple of days later they played round London nd the crowd was nowhere near the crowd from up north.

ok, just checkd the tables..... as it stands, it'd be s.africa - nz in first semi..... n an all black affair with s.lanka - w.indies in the 2nd..... but tht'l change cos pakistan r going thru 4 sure, dnt knw at whose expense though cos ireland might pull 1 over sri lanka by the looks of it lol..... in the othr group its oonly s.africa that r going thru 4 sure..... i supppose the writing will b more or less on the wall after 2mrws matches

^222222 late.... i ddnt expect him2....... read above (or some othr thread), me n stylez were talking about that...... the best captain2 bail out his team, or at least try, was inzy...... 80% of the time he'd at least make it half possible, even if it him cost him his wicket, he'd take the initiative..... i think more often than not he'd turn it in2 a game, even if in the end they ddnt make it he'd keep the hope alive

dhoni needs 2 look at himeself...he werent even looking for a big shot..i wouldnt have cared if he has gotten out but he didnt even try 2 hit ONE shot for 6. what is wrong with him??

and the commentators were going on about how england had this in the bag and were pretty comfortable? uhh yeah so winning on the last ball by 3 runs is OH SO comfortable.

spuds man, it goes back2 wht i was saying earlier - jadeja prob shudnt b thrown in in this situation n dhoni needs2 4get the anchor role.... he done much better than i expectd with the ball.... but kinda flopped in his batting..... but havin said tht, i still think he batted a bit better than it seems - unlike raina, he ddnt feel under pressure cos of the bouncers n he also tried playin his shots (which jst ddnt come off the middle), gambhir was only nudging..... i think he mite had a better game if he had a couple of matches b4.... at the same time, i think dhoni bottled it...... i really was expectin him2 come in at 4 (after 2nd wicket)..... wht kinda captain throws in a debutant whn ur on the backfoot?

the 4 things tht made a difference was BOTH of those points we'v jst made.... yuvi gettin stumped jst b4 he cud start causin mayhem (credit2 foster the b***** lol).... n the wide yuvi cudnt stop (am sure tht hit the goras pads whn saw reply from behind)....... i wudnt really say it was in the bowling ONLY cos it was neck n neck all the way whnever the scores were compared

i thought it was good that we put jadeja there to be honest..i knew he would play like that anyway becuase remember his last match in odi? very much the same here. but saying that i think someone like dhoni should have started hitting alot more...maybe yousuf should have come up the order aswell. arghh. im quite pissed off now...
