All we get remebered of in this country is 19 fuckin 66 or the bloody ashes series of 2005, even though australia won them back a few years later.

With the huge influx of Pakistanis in England and with the Pak team winning the cup here, they could have been a little easy handed, all it is, is few pakis gettin together nd celebrating a win.

What was pathetic tho was the media coverage of the final and the semi finals of this tourney. Not only that it seemed like the only cricket related thing that was being talked about was the ashes.. honestly does anyone here care for the ashes anymore? In fact after going to 4 T20 matches I don't know if I could manage watching Test cricket !

plus the english cricket council treat the 20/20 game with alot of disregard. they've got their heads still in 1920 when it was noble 5 day game - alot of the top brass hate one day let alone 20/20

they want the cricket to be "pure" test style as that is what the game was created for and bullshit like that

Wohooo. Was a good match for sure....
It was live in Southall, Edware Road, Luton, Green St....Good atmosphere for sure...I think most places celebrated it really well and closed off many roads lol....But had to be done i guess

Well done to Pakistan. They deserved it and have proved many people wrong and have made plenty of fans happy and keep their spirits going.
