Plane went missing early monday morning, and was lost signal of the plane 4 hours into flight.

Heard about this.

It's quite scary that no call was made out either. No chance to even call for help.

The brave pilots must've done everything they could've to keep the plane flying but unfortunately any chance of survival is bleak (as article says). If there was some disaster that is.

A tribute to the pilots and crew and passengers that are not accounted for...

^^ yeahh..especially the fact that there was no warning of being in a emergancy situation..quite scary...they said that only something surreal could explain it..very freaky...
thoughts goes out to the missing lot though....

they've found some of the debris, no sign of anything else or anyone, they say there's no hope

its been struck by lightening which short circuited the plane out - thus rendering it unable to send out a location or an SOS. an emergency beacon was let off before it crashed but with the power of the ocean the debris would've been scattered over an area of a few square miles already so if there were any survivors - they could well be a mile away from where it crashed - assuming they have food or something to survive on.

It's quite sad. Must be terrible for the relatives as they aren't officially dead, just missing which doesn't help if you just want some kind of closure or resolve.
