Default nottingham police brutality!

surprised no one has made this one

Granted, some context is missing from this film. The BBC reports that the man being tasered had, it is said, assaulted a police officer. Nonetheless, when he is tasered he is a) lying on the ground and b) there are two and then four police officers on the scene to deal with him. The suspect is then tasered for a second time. We then see an officer punch the tasered man in the head. Three times. At the very least this seems a disproportionate use of force. I'd go further: the police officer punching the suspect in the head seems guilty of assault himself and should, I hope, be subject to disciplinary proceedings.
To repeat, we don't know the extent of the suspect's alleged misbehaviour but this video seems to be more evidence that the police still think it's perfectly ok to use "overwhelming" force when no such force is required.

damn...... i went 2 the india-bangladesh match, the fans were everywher jumpin up n down climbin walls/street fences n even window ledges...... the police were only tellin them2 move on thts all...... over the trent there must'v been at 30 dancing away, no1 went up 2 say nthn even tho they'd taken up the whole of the pavement on tht side

i suppose it jst goes 2 show how they use double standards..... annoy the police (let alone hurt them) n all of a sudden the way2 restrain/calm the offender is go all out with brutality.... at the end of it all, its usually the police who commit the bigger offnece..... abuse of power i say - if not worse

unofficial - they're told to take a light hand with sports fans unless actual fighting/property damage occurs

i guess what they saw is just what they see when stoke play at home.

with large crowds they have to take it easy as they dont want to come across as aggressive and have 300 instead of 30 ppl charging.

LOL with the crazy amount of crime committed nd the judiciary system a complete an utter joke, i can see why some police officers are takin it into there own hands.
