Who was Mohammad Ali Jinnah, was he a good guy or a bad guy?

He was the founder of west and east pakistan.

First minister to rule as well.

In my eyes, he was a good guy, but many people think of him as greedy and selfish.

india should never have been split up, britain robbed the shyt out of india took its wealth, then carved the place up. muslims hindus nd sikhs were living fine between themselves for hundreds of years before, how come it was mountbatten nd jinnah wanting seperate states?

thousands of people died in the process, 3 wars have come out of it. the muslims were promised a islamic state but everyone knows jinnah was a secularist oxford educated womanising pisshead nd just wanted benefits for himself. our parents tell us he was a great man nd he made pakistan, well what is pakistan today? a 3rd world country which has seen 3 wars, military dictatorships, corrupt leaders... has anything been done for the actual people? america runs pakistan more than pakistan runs itself.

What kind of statement is this? No they weren't living fine. Majority of Muslims had literally 3rd class jobs? They were not allowed to progress?
And mountbatten didnt want a seperate state, he just wanted to see a civil war.

Jinnah's intentions were pure but the next leaders' intentions were not.

And how can you compare pakistan today from the past? Thats invalid. You telling me it wouldve been the same if Jinnah wouldve been in power now?

Not Jinnah's fault that America runs pakistan now is it?

I'd like you to name another Muslim leader from modern times that came out of nothing and spoke against the whole congregation about a seperate Islamic state. I doubt it.

mohammad ali jinnah....hmm what can i say about him...bein an indian my self....i have to give an unbiased opinion and i asure u it is...

it is believed that he initially did not want partition of india....he wanted to prevent civil war between the hindus and the muslims...

which he should've known was going to be inevitable....the white people have used "divide and conquer" for many centuries...why else do u think they own everything in this world right now....

truth of the matter is....there was always rivalry between gandhi and jinnah during their days as barristers....when one competitor leaves the other behind by miles the guy will obviously feel jealous and will do anything to gain more respect and power than the other guy.....

i mean thts my opinion...but the way i see it...thats what was happening at the time
