Since the beginning of the 19th century to the present day there hasnt been a war, started by religion. Started by man but not religion.

@ incredible - it seems to me you find things you don't understand are funny. which in itself, is funny to me. that kinda laughter leads on to frustration, then anger, resentment, and finally vilification. nuff said.

@ scrooge - religion was used as an excuse in some of those wars, although in these politically correct times, not an overt one. it is true, what you say though, most wars today are not started over religion. most civil wars and guerrilla wars have an issue with religion.

@ shelim - this isn't a medium i would necessarily use to "blow your minds", as it were. come to the big chill festival, secret garden party or beatherder this summer, and we'll meditate together. as for my beliefs, they're based mainly on taoist buddhism, with knowledge of the work of hermeticism and practices of sikhi.
