Mosque when you were young

Any of you guys go mosque when you were younger and get punished silly ways by staaji?

How did you get punished for messing about?

In my mosque he used to make us stand infront of heater and burn our legs and also get a tea cup and hit on feet and get the brush you clean kitchen floor with and brush hair with it.

what a guy that was but lucky i didnt get hair brushed.

Well, I went to a mosque in london...I doubt beatings occured there...but I remba there was a teacher that apparently threw a chair at a kid (kid was like 15/16).

Wasnt much of a madrassa...but a weekend school to learn arabic, quran and Islamic studies.

Maan i never went mosque when i was little... i was taught all arabic at home.. however i went to saturday islamic school where i was taught islamic studies which didnt involve the beats...

However when i was little i had like quran reading sessions with male and female teachers... boy i remember this guy man he use to use his knuckles on my head... i use to get mad.. and tell my mum and my mum also gets mad saying dont hit them on their heads!!

lol i did that too man but when i did that i tried sitting on my arms like rest them for a bit then point my ass in the air and then when he wasnt looking i sit on my arms again :P

me an bro sisters used to get taught at home cause live ina white area an mosque be too far to go in nex town.

right from the start me was a realli good fluent reader. picked it up pretty fast so I dont realli have any memories of the beats...

wish i could say the same about my yunger bro an sis tho...

I learnt namaz an that really quickli. but cause bro sis hadnt learnt as fast, Id still sit with them an read quran for the 1.half hours he used to come teach every weekend.

Once my bro got battered so bad, his nose was bleeding. his nose litralli got punched in I got so angry wen I saw him crying, I never went back after that day again.

(the reason why he got battered. was. he shouted at my bro an sed "wat it it" in that accent wile bangin on da table. my brother. duno wetha he was bieng cheeky or genuinly didnt realise goes "it is a table". but molana had ment wat is the word.lol.)

stil remeber everythin.lol. uff. but bro was weeel "hopeeeeless" at pronouncing stuff an still remeber how the molana (techa) be slapping pushing bro at every likle mistake.

my yunger sis not as much. but she still had them random pushes an slaps

sucha impatient short tempered man he was tho. we used to call him "game ruiner" an "5minuteman" at 1 point. lol me an bro sis be doin or playin sumthin. then he'd be ringin up sayin. Im comin in 5 minutes. get ready lol

but even still.

I respect him.an pray for him whenever I read...

I used to go to someone's house when I was younger 'coz we lived in a predominantly white area and there was no mosque/madressah but when I was like 11, we moved to a more asian area and like 5 minute walk from the local mosque. I hated it... I was in the all girls class with my sister, cousin and loadsa mates from school. The next door class was the boys and it had lotsa boys from my school so we'd always be getting in trouble for doing masti before/after class lol. And during class, I got bare beats with the wooden stick on my thighs. Oh and having to hold my ears and stand up/crouch down continuously for 2 hours was a killer.
