How did the prophet Mohammed pbuh die?

some say by poison? others say of old age?

what is the truth?

well, i think he died at the age of 63..so must be of old age, or u could jst sey it was the time for him to go

A few months after the farewell pilgrimage, Muhammad fell ill and suffered for several days with head pain and weakness. He succumbed on Monday, June 8, 632, in the city of Medina.

It wasn't poison.
He just fell ill, and he knew he was going to.
It says in most places that he had violent headaches, shakes, and ringing in his head/ears.
Apparently, that's why bells are not liked.

no I am sure it was nothing to do with the Apple core.That's just rediculous.

But as to his death I am not pretty sure with my extensive research in the past hour he died a natural death due to the aging process.

And btw Prophet mohammedpbuh is NOT to be confused by the Mirza Ghulam Ahmad who died by extreme diarrhea problems. (who has nothing to do with Islam btw)

Yeah I've always read he died a natural death. Its quite sad when you read how Hadhrat Umar RA reacted to it. He was angry at the companion(forgot who) who told him and refused to believe it. The companion recited the following verse as a reply:

Muhammad is but a messenger, messengers (the like of whom) have passed away before him. Will it be that, when he dieth or is slain, ye will turn back on your heels? He who turneth back on his heels doth no hurt to Allah, and Allah will reward the thankful. (3:144)

He founded the Ahmaddiya sect...but people usually call them Qadiyani's I think.
