back to the thread, its pretty simple. u follow what god says, so for muslims, allah has given the quran and sunnah, the life of the prophet pbuh, for us to look at for guidance, guidance on how we should live our life in accordance to with islam.
so if it says we should read 5 namaz, help the elderly, help our ummah, how we spend our money, how we earn it, how we go about our every day life, then we should do it, in the boundaries of islam. coz when muslims say the shahadah, that is the contract that binds us in with allah swt, we are saying that we are muslims and submitting to no one but allah.

in a hadith it says along the lines of 'today i have made your deen perfect' this was revealed when the final message was revealed to the prophet pbuh.

when people start to pick and choose islam, for example, il pray my 5 namaz, but il go out clubbing in the evening. i dont drink alchol, but i dont mind serving it. thats when peeps will get accounted for there actions. dont think jus coz someone is a muslim, they are exempt from hell, they can end up there, just like non muslims. its about sticking to your religion to the best of your ability. recognising that you are ACCOUNTABLE, to each and every single one of your actions, and on the day of judgement, your good deeds and bad deeds are revealed, thas when u will know your destiny.

islam does say non muslims/muslims will go to hell, because they have deviated away from the true message. u can be a true, honest, sweet, loving person, but if your not following whats been sent down, then yes u are going to hell.

u get people saying, 'u muslims, u think islam is the truth, u go on like your religion is this and that'', it comes down to understanding. it comes down to really questioning yourself and the religion, questions such as 'why am i here? who created me? is there really a creator? what is my purpose in life? where am i goin, when i die?'

There is quite a lot of proof that the bible has been edited over th last 100 years.

Of course there are many bibles such as the Hebrew's version, protestant's version, catholic's version, King James version etc.

And thats not even taking any evidence from the Zeitgeist film into account. This just shows contradictions in the text. Of course a text that is considered god's word cannot have contradictions in it. Hence, muslim's and some non-muslims alike say that the bible is not authentic.

Allah is one

The only deen infront of Allah is Islam (As Aallah says in the Qu'ran)

Phrophet Muahmmed PBUH said every single person is born a muslim.

Those who turn away from Islam then they covert...those who come who come back to Islam they are then riverts.

Some people think it's ok to do shirk...this is the biggest sin anyone can do...it's bigger then backbiting. Every Phrophet Allah sent came with 1 message, worship Allah & only Allah (Hazrat Isa PBUH didn't say worship me to get to Allah...Allah doesn't need no one least of all a son...Yes Hazrat Isa PBUH cured the sick...Yes Hazrat Isa PBUH brought the dead back to life...but who was really curing the sick...who was really bringing the dead back to life...It was Allah)

When people do shirk it doesn't bring them close to the zikr of Allah...it takes them far away.

You could be the biggest pope...you could be Mother Teresa and offer prayers and do good deeds all your life but without shahada all that goes to waste becuase all those prayers and deeds are not for Allah, they do sajda to Jesus...they infact declare Jesus is there Lord and mention nothing about Allah.

Yes people are forgiven when they associate partners with Allah reprent with believe & then come back to Islam...but when people associate partners with Allah up to the point of death then they've opened up the doors of Jahanam up for themselfs.

thats a massive statement you are making. are you saying that a criminal who has murdered people, but then becomes a devoted muslim has more chance of "heaven" than someone like mother teresa?

Allah has the last say in whether someone goes to heaven or hell END OF..

in the above situation even the murderer will see hell fire as he will have to pay his time in hell for the lives he has taken in this life in the heareafter...

in terms of his chances of going heaven or hell compared to mother teresa... its not for me to say... as he may be a completely new person once coverting to Islam...he may be a very sincere muslim and do all that is said in to be done the Qurán to the best of his ability, but will still do his time for the things he has done previous to turning to islam... but like stated above only Allah can and will make the decision of him and her going heaven or hell..

even if george bush was to become muslim now, with right intentions and then acted upon islam to the best of his ability then theres a possibility he would go to heaven.
