Got average grades really, no re-takes of any subject!

not necessarily doing better thn yuo... you have a job and make a good living whereas im at university doing my degree... earning not as much as i'd like to but hey thats life i guess...

i did get my GCSE's done after i failed in secondary tho bav.. did them in sixth form

I do standards like English, English Lit, Maths, Science, R.E, I.C.T, Then I chose Geog, History, French and Child Development

Get back to me in August with what I got.

Im similar to shelim, I didnt really concentrate in school, I had 0 <--- C's, migh highest grade was a D, which I got 3 times.

After that I re-took the ones required i.e. maths, english etc. got 3 a-levels (c,c,d) and thats without putting much effort into it then finally in my 3rd yr at uni I put my head down lol and got a degree (2:1) and now i'm doing a masters.

One advice I will give is put the effort in! you dont want to waste years re-sitting etc. but also dont worry if you dont get the grades you wanted, you will still get opportunities to do it again at college.

My choices at school were appauling, I really didnt care lol. I would say (although it does depend on what your going to study) you should concentrate your best on maths, science and english as well as a foreign language, say for example in the future you wanted to go into a graduate scheme, there are a lot more opportunities if you can french/spanish etc. and you will be able to travel more.

maaan most of you lot were smarties in secondary... baz said he didnt concentrate but i was just dumb.. honestly lol... glad i got something in my brain now lol
