    Default Personal Statement

this is soo stupid man this is how far ive got

My love of science and aspiration for a medical career is reflected in my A-Level choices where good time management, self motivated study skills and ability to cope with stress and pressure are essential. Biology ,Physics and Chemistry have helped me further my interest and develop my analytical skills. I believe all the qualities I have developed through my courses are essential for any good doctor.
I will participated in the award scheme which enabled me to achieve a first aid certificate including cardiopulmonary resuscitation training.

I also enhanced my inter-personal, communication and team building abilities, valuable skills for any medical occupation, I witnessed during my experience.I have volunteered at a local surgery this can help with the public in a different environment. I enjoy reading, mainly factual books to expand my general knowledge. To relax, I enjoy sports including basketball and football

    is it ok?

    Nope Nope Nope Nope

Not in depth enough.... you need to expand each point... you need to say about your social life.. what you will gain out of uni apart from a degree

I have decided to apply for Computing or Business Computing because I see the course as the next logical step from studying my BTEC National Diploma for IT Practitioners (Software Route Stream) at Aylesbury College. I am looking forward to learning the use of information systems in a business context such as project management and strategic information systems. I would like to take the opportunity to undertake a placement year because this will allow me to develop my skills further in the workplace.

Whilst studying my A-Levels, I have enjoyed studying a number of units including the Introduction to Software Development which was based on Visual Basic programming language. The unit consisted of programming a Visual Basic interface in which I achieved a Distinction. I am also very interested in Communications Technology; I found learning about Computer Networks, Data Communications and the Internet very interesting. I have gained a wider knowledge of computing and believe I can achieve high grades throughout my education. I am currently on a course to achieve grade DDM which is equal to 320 points.

In my spare time, I carry out work on Art as I have previously studied AS Level Art & Design; I gained grade B. I am studying AS Photography at college; the course is creative in exploring the still-life.

Whilst studying full-time at college, I have carried out extra curricula activities. This included being a teacher assistant at the Hartwell Day Centre where I taught elderly people how to use computer software such as Microsoft Word; they designed cards and letters.

I am hard-working, enthusiastic and always keen to meet deadlines. I am an open person, can easily interact with colleagues and share constructive views and opinions.
