    Default Visual Basic

This has to be the most TEDIOUS programming language I have come across (apart from java).

Anyone here a master at it? Computer dudes?

If you've done it before, how did you feel?

I have to do it cos my project work needs me to create a system with a high level language that also has a Microsoft Access Backbone.

VBA, is slightly easier, but its still bleh.

Note: Big thank you to Kayz for helping me out yesterday. I was on the verge of scrunching my "Computer Systems Tips & Tricks" book to a pulp.

lol man in my first 2 yrs of web development, I had to learn VB, and all the malarky like C# and some other code that was being taught for the first time, I hated it, wasn't my thing, got an A in it but that only cos one of my mates was a swot and he helped me out, I wouldn't want to see that stuff again!

altho if your into the web development and stuff then it can be good, but I hate programming.

It's a college programming language... And some uni's....

In my opinion it's a web development language and useful with the Microsoft .NET framework....

Learn a harder language like C/C++ and then your talking... Most high level languages steal from C so I'd say start there and you can pretty much learn any language.....

I think Microsoft Access is written in VB... LOL.... Learn it with .NET and you can make some good doe....

I've never learnt it or have any desire to....

Oi Zero, if you still need help gimme your work and the problem and I'll show it to one of the teachers here. He teaches VB, C#, J#, MS SQL, so I'm sure he would know something about it. Plus I also got a good rapport with him so he should be ok showing me it.
