    Default Ways of Learning

Everyone has their own preferred ways of learning.

Some find it easier to understand stuff by listening, having discussions and lectures.

Some may prefer visual learning through diagrams, videos, illustrated text books.. Doodling? etc.

Some prefer the hands on approach, being more active, carrying out practical activities..

What method do you find best when learning stuff?

I learn better when the lecturer is bubbly and lively, maybe a few jokes during his lecture too, just keeps your mind alive lol.

I hate boring lecturers, me n mates walked out of one today half way today, I was close to falling asleep, and it wasn't doing me any good.

thats the thing you miss out on at uni, you dont get one on one tutor time, as in there's that many ppl they can't help each individual with their queries, you have to learn by yourself but I guess thats also a good thing.

When I was revisin for exams.. I would read out my lecture notes over and over.. Shorten em into brief notes in different colours and stuff. Then memorise the notes. During the exam I would picture the notes in my head.. And remembered what to write word for word.. I did that for all the papers

Most of my stuff is mathematics and so it comes out naturally, but for words, read it over and over again, saying it out aloud.

Another good way is teaching someone, you reiterate your knowledge and lastly interactive lectures/tutorials, getting involved always helps speed up the learning process.

    My brain is like sponge.

I learn by reading textbooks. And making connections with things I already know. By thinking and relating the facts to everyday life, it ends up sticking up there.

Im not a visual person at all; I get too easily distracted.

I'd Prefer silence with me and my book. (:
