Oh I forgot about the customer service team (which I used to be part of) - their main job is dealing with customers at the counter and on the phone, dealing with post and registering the forms and data inputting them onto the system.

I'm not sure how the rest of the LEA's do it but that's how our office is - 3 teams - 20 people

wow kinda weird if you think about it... so many peoples lives are in your hands...

But its the same in all areas of life i guess...

That would be the Student Loans Company or should I say Student Finance England. The repayments number should still be the same which is: 0800 405 010
