Lol, I think it looks so chav type.

I beleive the history behind it is that the guys do it to show that they "hard". Reason being when a boxer gets hit on the ryr and gets cut on the brow the haor never grows back hence a scar hence no hair.

So they do it to show that they're "hard" cos they been in fights and the "cuts" are their "battle wounds" so to speak.
