The Asian Place Video Competition

We think that it is time for us to introduce another fun competition for all members to take part in.

What is it?

Well what we would like you to do is create a fun video introducing The Asian Place and its fun loving members.

What is the prize?

First Prize would consist of a Two Months Free Subscribtion of a Premium Membership Account and an AP Badge

Second Prize would consits of One Months Free Subcribtion of a Premium Membership Account.
What are the guidelines?

• The video must include music!
• You may use just images,
• You may use member photos - (with their permission)
• You may mix both moving clips and images if you like!
• The Video must be a minimum of 30 seconds long,
• The Video must represent The Asian Place,
• The Video must be an introduction to new members,
• The Video must not be just "text" only,
• You may use colours within the video based around AP.
• Within the video the website url "www.theasianplace.net" must be clearly visible atleast once or preferbaly throughout the video in small tucked away in a corner.

What are the rules?

• Deadline is the 31 December 2008.
• You are allowed to get other members, moderators, family and friends to help you,
• Only one person is entitled to the prize, even if you work as a pair, (so you will need to decide who gets what)
• You are only a winner of this competition if "we" The Asian Place use your video.
• Your video must include the points mentioned above. In particular take notice of the key words highlighted in red.
• Please do not ask any questions about the Prize, as i have already made my self clear.
• Yes all Moderators are excluded from this competition,
• Please make sure you ask for permission before using any member photos.

Tips

Those who are unsure on where to start, Windows Movie Maker is a good software to begin with, its on your computer by default if you have a Windows XP operating system, you can very easily make a video. But those who are advanced and want to take it a level higher by all means do so!

We will determine the winner by looking at how many points outlined above were implemented.

Submit all completed videos to Sir OS.
