city university
Any1 in here from or been to city university?
is it a good uni?
Pro's/con's?
Im applying for opthalmic and optical dispencing and this is one of the uni's that do the course.. and im thinking of applying there as i will be moving to london in a year or 2 time.. well its the only uni in london that does it!!
Other uni's put down:
Manchester and bradford..

and 3 of my mates are doing that course you mention at that uni... its pretty good for it.
Hmm yeah I go there.
Pros: I think the best thing about is its in the heart of London. If you like roaming around central and doing shopping and stuff you'll love it cos its on your doorstep. There's also a shopping centre close to the Uni. Erm what else... its a good mix of people? I mean I've always been round Asians but going to City there's all kinda people. But I guess that's with every uni?
Cons: Expense is the killer, the cost of living in London, not just City is crazy but I guess if your loaded that's all good. Also it's quite congested in some bits. Hmm that's all I can think of. Anymore questions feel free to ask.

thanx guji.. ^^ all the above mentioned makes it seem to be in a good area.. With me i'v been brought up in mix communities all the time.. from nursery/primary all the way till college.. so its not going to be hard to fit in.. I love shopping and roaming about but i guess thats going to be done after uni/studying hours.. london is reaaly big so yeh i'll love the whole thing about it.. atmosphere seems good..
Expenses.. hmm.. its a killer everywer.. but then if we want to get somewer we have to handle it.. i don't think that will be a problem for me.. iv already got all that sorted out..
