    Default Question for an Assignment

This is aimed at anyone on this forum, I would just like your opinions and your reasons for your answers....

What stadiums would you personally think would be good to use for the world cup? and why would you choose these stadiums?

    Much appreciated.

Edit: Stadiums must be in England.

    any country?

i would say the san siro - such a wonderful stadium with a great atmosphere.

then the nou camp too would be great

third choice would be walker stadium in leicester.

i think the Coral Windows Stadium in bradford should be first choice. the amount of awesom-o people that live in that city deserve a world cup stadium. possible opening ceremony stadium all the famous bradistani's could show the world how to scam and bullshit their way thru life.

realistically there's only a few that are able to handle such an event

stuff like anfield, old trafford, st james, villa park, city of manchester stad, stad of light, white hart lane, emirates, stamford bridge, goodison

its in places like that where the infrastructure is good enough to cope with the extra fans coming in. if you imagine france vs holland game in any of the above cities you can realistically see a fanzone being created, enough sleeping space to take in the numbers and a travel system to cope with such numbers.

stad's like ewood park, reebok, hawthorns, the kingston, i doubt would be a) venues to excite the supporters nor i think could the smaller cities cope with the numbers coming over.

    Wembley
    Anfield - Liverpool
    Old Trafford - Man Utd
    St. James Park - Newcastle
    Emerates stadium - Arsenal
City of Manchester - Manchester City
    Reebok stadium - Bolton Wanderers
    Stadium of Light - Sunderland
    Villa Part - Aston Villa
    Goodison Park - Everton
    Riverside - Middlesbrough
    Stamford Bridge - Chelsea
    Ewood Park - Blackburn

The smaller places could cope because they will not all stage the big games, plus they are usually near a big city i.e. Bolton and Blackburn are close to Liverpool and Manchester so travelling and accommodation wouldn't be too much of an issue.
