This is one segment of my life right now, I have to find myself a job where I want to stay for the long term.

Very good job, and actually inspired me to log in (as it clicks with one part of my life at the mo) and type probably one of my more thought out verses on here anyway, not really a fan of trying when there's no real reason, but meh... it's going down anyway! a lot of world play or different meanings to some of the rhymes but it's not for show anyway, whether you get it or do you don't it doesn't matter, it's a bit all over the place anyway.

I’m feeling the same ‘stitches’, planning the way to riches
Is failing cos I ain’t prevailing can’t find where the switch is
To turn my life on, feels like the energy like electricity is gone
No source of power or direction, the destination has withdrawn
Stood still, watching life pass by whilst my ambition’s moved on
Re-painting after erasing the previous future that was drawn
The pathway is narrower, the doorway is closing
Measuring life to size, how do I fit in a box that’s closed in?
I think outside of it, and a new plan needs proposing
I have it within in me so now my will needs imposing
It’s at my finger tips like the world wide web
But were tangled in the disease that’s world wide spread
From primary to university gathering debt is the mission
Maybe my ego’s just trippin but I’m a slave to the system
They make you see the future, you have to cut the distance of your vision
Their work is no more different to a manipulative magician
See the reality and transition and then hot-wire your ignition
The probability of my condition will fall into some theory or cognition
I’d rather you listen and rendition or acknowledge my intuition
I have no presence (presents) in this world but I don’t expect to be gifted
My rift is, the opportunities have come and gone and I’ve just drifted
I’m running on an empty tank, the fuel for my emotions has burnt out
I must find a way to re-light the fire to get me through this drought
Although the problem is within, I must find my inner self
I still remember the adrenalin that as a winner I had felt
Climbing those steps cannot be waste (waist) like within my belt
So I must let go of the shackles and expose my svelte

lol it's mine don't worry about that, I have many similar pieces (although I done this after I seen stitches post) I keep them to myself usually, it's not often I sit down and go deep with my thinking process, normally I do it for jokes, especially on here. I've got some pieces that need recording but just can't find the motivation to record and edit.

SPIG your content is good, and your bars are all the same length but flow wise it's not all that if im being honest

eg your structure is like this

-------------------------rhyme
-------------------------rhyme with last word from previous bar
-------------------------rhyme
-------------------------rhyme with the last word from previous bar

no offence but that pretty simple if you look at it a technical level, it would flow better if you include more mutli's and internal rhyming

ie..
--------rhyme------------rhyme with same word earlier same bar
--------------------------rhyme with last word from previous bar

eg

basic 2 bars

i charge so much, call me interest
you should love me, cos im the best

or

im blessed. the banks want interest
you can't stress finesse that's the best

that's just nonsensical lyrics, but you see the major difference it how it flows ?
