UCAS help.. Bav! - Can i apply now!?

I know its late... but i just tried signing up to UCAS and it let me, but the "choices" box is closed.. and clearing has started...

Can i still apply in any way at all? It still has the option to put in statement and stuff... but i cant see anywhere i can put my selection of universities..?

Has anyone tried applying to university without UCAS? Can i apply directly at all...? I doubt it..?

i swear u cant now....cuz of the deadline.....

You can apply and get your UCAS number for this year but you'll only be eligible for clearing, as you've passed the deadline for UCAS Extra which was back in June. You can always contact the universities directly, like the admissions department who will transfer you to the department you need and see what you are able to do there!

You can register put up your statement and stuff but yeah you'll only be eligible for clearing...

what are you after i'm guessing its a postgraduate/pgce unless your doing a different undergraduate?

Yea i can do PGCE whenever i think.. but im going to do another degree.. thats only if i get in.. or if they have space.. will be giving them a ring tomorrow.. what im after only 3 universities do it in London.. so its going to be a tight one.. last year i rang them in March and they said fully booked

WOW another degree? Good luck in getting finance for that!
Yeah clearing it is then.. only way to do it..
or contacting unis directly sometimes works to since well you have grades and everything so in a sense you'd get a confirmed place if they have enough space...

I should qualify as i can prove that i am more then capable and have the ability... last march they said Full.. i think the lady could have been racist.. then again 3 universities only doing the course.. that must mean it will be full.. and the demand will be pow.. i highly doubt id be able to get in.. but im going to ask tomorrow anyway...

Sorry Kayz, I don't deal with UCAS but I heard they're pretty strict with their deadlines!

What kind of degree are you gonna do and what did you get your first degree in? Did you pass with Honours?

yeh you only get t o put in your details, you contact them on clearing day and get interview or offer...

Seriously why did you miss the deadline! the fact you'd get a guaranteed place if you were on time sucks... did you just recently think of doing another degree?
