Which Laptop Is Better?

Ok i need a new laptop cuz i absalutely h8 my macbookair it jus annoys me when i look @ it....so i need a new laptop but i'm not all techy so i don't know what to get i have narrowed my list down to 2 laptops they are pretty low budget laptops cuz my mum won't let me get anything expensive cuz i have the mac and she says buying a new laptop is a waste of money so i saved up bou £700 to buy a new,

Now all in all i like both but i don't know which is better, cuz i don't understand techy computer jargan.... ok i will use this for Uni work just essays and assigments for Physics and to surf internet and go on AP and shit ummm i'm also gna need to load photo stuff and music programs for recording my piano playing ect i won't be using it for like gaming or like graphics designing so it dosn't have to be all that in that sence....SO plz a techy person out there can you help me with my dilemma cuz i don't know which to get....

Well......neither.

Dell and Sony are notorious for their unreliability.

Acer laptop are good. They fairly cheap and reliable as well.

But why would you want a laptopt if you got an Air? You're justs illy.

Best advice I can give here is, don't buy a laptop cos "it looks nice/pretty/cool/good...etc"

Acer and HP are the best brands around.

Well the only Acer one thats in pink is their Netbook which is pretty shit anyways.

As for pink HP's, never heard of them.

You could buy a bog standard black one and respray it pink if you're desperate for it to be pink.

lol i did this and my laptop came out as £800+ so i had to cut down to just under £700 but i am no good at hagglin so that would be a dead end for me...i heard with Dell if theres a porbz with the lappy then you have to send it off to dell not take it down to your local shop so that might be a probz....
