    Default Thanksgiving by Yours Truly!

mom hasnt done thanksgiving in awhile, sometimes we dont do it cuz of money but i did it this yr, my lil brother made the potato scallop thingy and i did the rest.

it was stuffed tomatoes, which had bread crumbs, provolone, and basil and garlic - turkey had fresh dill, tarragon, and basil underneath its kin (it was so tender!) and it had minced onions coated on it cuz i knew the flavor would stay if it was on the top, itd allow the top to be crunchy so it could contrast with the tenderness. corn on the cob, potato bread rolls, the potato scallops, mashed potatoes with scallions in it, stuffing was onions, crumbs, other herbs and vegis, and gravy. and my chocolate cake of course! marshmallows n sprinkles

i took some to work n it was applauded ^__^ we were all sittin at the table, me n my family, n my mom started sayin thanks to everything, even to our cat who was nibbling on turkey below us haha

I love the idea of setting aside time to give thanks.
Sometimes, people just need that time to remember.
    It's lovely.
