GOOD LUCK TO MY MAN DAVID GAYLE!
Are you asking which is more important ore which we would choose to have more than the other?
OMG De Ja Vu, No! it's INCEPTION!!!
Simple rule.. TS asks you.. You don't ask TS..
true knowledge come from experience, but then again some ppl never understand their experiences. ohhh the power of perception is the most powerful of all
Qualifications mean shit all.
I know some clearly intelligent people, who can think from so many viewpoints, they can anaylse, comprehend and just think on different levels about different things , yet they never achieved a grade they could be proud of.
I also know some thick fuckers, who just don't have depth or the ability to think for themselves. That doesn't matter; as long as they're able to regurgitate whatever they've heard or read, they deserve their 1st class.
I am Confidence and Insecurity.
Evil Genious is My Budden Man.
As already said it depends on the individual, I prefer to have knowledge and experience, as blooming said, knowledge gained from experiences are the ones that help the most and it can be on anything.
Qualifications are good on paper and that is pretty much it really...
What you think Incredible?
OMG De Ja Vu, No! it's INCEPTION!!!

knowlege is power.
Xperience is wisdom
qualification is the insight
Interesting thread.
All three are utmost necessary, but the importance changes as we move ahead in career.
Initial years - Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience;
Later - Experience, knowledge & qualification.
Knowledge and experience can get you further than just qualifications.
You can have any of these things, but if you have no common sense you will fail in life

I get more head in the hood, than a KKK ritual
Qualilfications arn't worth the pieces of paer they're printed on.
This question has been devated sooo many times on AP, and there has never been any consensus on it.
This is my signature
In the world that we live in.. in my honest opinion you need all three in different ways.
You need one for the other and vice versa... i think you wont progress much if you just stick to just one.. you need a bit of everything... it applies everywhere from basket knitting to rocket science. It dosent matter where its needed you need a bit of everything.

All three are important. But If I had to pick one out the three.
Experience.

Lolll at people slating Qualifications.
Qualifications signify which level of education you've received - GCSE, A-Level, Degree etc. Of course they're important: with each level of education, you develop more in the field that interests you.
Its not the qualifications that are wrong, it's the nature of the assessment to RECEIVE it e.g. difficulty of exams, simply regurgitating information and that kind of thing.
Like Kayz and a few others have said, you need all of them to progress and develop yourself as a person.
Knowledge - you just need it. Period.
Qualifications - allows you to be able to analyse, question and deepen your understanding of that Knowledge and acts as indicator of how in depth you've studied.
Experience - you have to apply the knowledge and understanding in your field = that is how you gain your experience.
fuckaduck.
okay just by reading most of your responses I see that most agree that you need all three. But experience and knowledge are more important than qualifications.
This leads to my next question based on the responses...there are lots of people who have the knowledge and experience but do not have the qualifications which are not taken seriousily... For example somebody with a PHD and has a Dr before their name would have more credibility than somebody has who has good knowledge with lack of quals.
Does it not depend on the field of expertise when you judge the person? for example would you rather be given advice on bodybuilding/training by a person who has personal/ fitness instructor qualifications or a person who has trained and has experience of 20 yrs in the field?
