Well used to be back in the days..all about Vodka cranberry now and wine when I'm looking to get drunk
Cocktails suck for getting you drunk. Too much sugar leaves you feeling short-changed and light in the pocket.
Heavy continental lagers, around 7%. None of the Special Brew crap, but Leffe Blond, Peroni Nazurro.
Complex dry red wines, Rioja is normally a good start, or Pinot Nior. I don't really drink white wine, they say white wine refreshes the spirit and red wine dulls the pain. I have a lot of pain to be dulled.
I prefer dark spirits over light, as they have a nusha which is heavier, in a sense. So, dark rums like Havana Club 7yr old, Agnostura 1919 etc etc, bourbon whiskey such as Builliet and Woodford Reserve, and Whiskey/Whisky. Single malts are nice, but cheap whiskey and cheap coke kept me going through many a 3 day rave back in t'day. Jamesons Whiskey is excellent, a light refreshing Irish whiskey that wont leave you with a hangover the next day. Except when you drink more than a bottle. But it will still be nice.
My usuals:
Vodka & coke
Rum & coke
Bacardi N coke
JD.
Don't like lager, Cider. bla/
