He was in London in August 2006. He went to Harrow and Croydon, as well as other cities around the UK. I went to see him. I remember it well.

I think that was his last tour of the UK.

Here’s Zakir Naik trying to justify the death penalty for apostates. Lemme summerise what he’s saying in this video:

If a non-Muslim converts to Islam and spreads Islam, then it’s all fine and dandy.

BUT

If a Muslim converts to another religion and spreads his new religion then they deserves the death penalty because it’s considered “treason”, and then he tries to bring in a fallacious analogy about army generals revealing their blueprints/secrets.

It's funny when he tries to explain something in Islam using random "examples" and analogies, some of which are embarassingly stupid.

I remember watching a video in which he was asked why Muslims aren't allowed to marry a non-Muslims in Islam.

His answer was something along the lines of... "In order for a marriage to be successful both partners should share the same ideology. You can't have a car with one wheel of a cycle and one wheel of a truck".

I'm kidding you not, that is pretty much what he said. What the fuck has a car with one wheel of a cycle and one wheel of a truck got to do with marrying non-Muslims? I dunno how he manages to keep a straight face when he says crap like that.

If I find the video I'll post it.

It maybe "embarassingly stupd" to you but at least he gets his point across.

Since when do analogies have to have anything to do with the concept being expressed?

I think you will find that link between the marriage issue and car and cycle wheel issue would be incompatibility if you haven't worked it out already.

As if we don't use "stupid" analogies ourselves, no ones perfect.

There are good analogies and there are bad ones. That one was pretty bad. Infact it was embarassingly bad.

Now can you comment on the egg-shaped thing? Lets see if you can be objective here.
